I think I'm addicted to watching older seasons of my fav TV shows on DVD.

Dad: So how many episodes of Rizzoli and Isles have you watched tonight?
Me: Three.
Dad: *rolls eyes*  You need a life.
 So...I guess I shouldn't tell him I've also watched four episodes of Gilmore Girls tonight as well?

My aunt encourages my new life goal.

Me: My new life goal is to work at a Target in Nasvhille.
My aunt: Why?
Me: Becasue Steve was saying the other day that one of his friends was in line at Target in Nashville and Martina McBride was behind her.  MARTINA MCBRIDE.  I'd die.
My aunt: Ya know, I've seen pictures before of Nicole and Keith coming out of a Target.  I bet you could meet a lot of people there.  Everybody loves Target, even famous people.

I just killed one of the main characters in my novel.

This is the first time I’ve ever killed a character off. My heart hurts.

Oh happy day! Just validated my NaNoWriMo novel! 50,465 words in under thirty days! Ordering my winner t-shirt now!

NaNoWriMo Update.

Halfway done with the word count. And my story is actually starting to take shape, my characters are developing nicely, and I have a good story line in mind. Now if only Swamp People would stop distracting me, I could knock out my word count for the day. Only 25,000 more words to go!

Oh, nothin’ special. Just hangin’ out with the adorably cute Randy Montana.

NaNoWriMo starts in less than an hour.

I got my ideas in my head and I’m ready to go. Don’t expect to see or hear much from me for the next 30 days. Between the novel writing and the CMA Awards, I am going to be a very busy person. But bring on the challenge, NaNoWriMo. I will conquer your 50,000 word goal in 30 days. Just you wait and see.

Ahh the excitment and wonder that comes with creating a whole new world of words out of nothing. :)
